Fernando Brodsky
My younger brother Nando (Fernando) Brodsky disappeared on Aug 14th, 1979, at the age of 22. 22 is no age to die. Here's a photo of Martin Bercovich, my best friend, taking a photo of me while I was taking a photo of him. Martin was the best friend I have ever had. I still dream of him often, and it has been twenty years.

We began by compiling a list of the names of former students of my school (CNBA, Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires) who had been murdered. Names kept being added until the last minute, and even during the memorial ceremony: they finally numbered 98.The youngest, Magdalena Gallardo, was only 15 at the time of her disappearance, many were less than 20, still at school or barely graduated, most were in their early twenties like Nando and Martin. Of the 98, 18 were my age, from the class of 72.
